If there is one thing I want to leave in this world (aside from three wonderful children), it is to help women live up to their financial potential. This is a mission rooted in a lifetime of experiences, and one that influences my work, family life, and contributions in my community. The most satisfying part of my work is helping women take action, quiet those fears, and take control of their finances, family and life. I have seen a woman’s life be transformed by partnering with a competent and trusted financial professional. Such a professional can help her reclaim her power for whatever is most important to her.
Molly Ward, a Certified Financial Planner®, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. She is also a single mom of three, based in Houston with more than 20 years of professional experience. A Texas native, Molly earned her financial designation of CFP (one of just five women in Texas at the time under the age of 30), and built a wealth management firm before she had her first child at age 25. Since then, she has participated in programs at Harvard and Wharton Business School, and was named one of five advisors (and the only woman) to Equitable’s Elite Advisor Group out of 5,000 of her peers, and serve as a direct liaison between Equitable’s chairman, CEO, and other top executives. She is on the board of her local library, and member and former associate’s roundtable Chair of James A Baker III Institute at Rice University. She is a competitive runner, paddleboarder, and Olympic distance triathlete. You can find her most afternoons playing football in her front yard with her son.
