Elisabeth Netherton MD, PMH-C, MSCP
Dr. Netherton attended the University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate education, the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston, and completed residency training in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine. She has previously served as a hospital medical director and inpatient women’s psychiatrist, in emergency psychiatric services, as director of a private practice Intensive Outpatient Program, as an inpatient psychiatrist and faculty member at the Menninger Clinic with Baylor College of Medicine, and in leadership within a large multi-state group psychiatric practice. She co-created and served as the psychiatrist for the Menninger Moms program at the Menninger Clinic and currently serves as a Senior Fellow for Maternal Behavioral Health for the Hackett Center for Mental Health. She additionally serves on voluntary faculty for Baylor College of Medicine and focuses on care for adult women in her private practice, with offices in Houston and San Antonio. She is passionate about teaching, speaking, and writing about how psychiatrists can take better care of their female patients.
